Again, a change at the blog. I have intentionally made this blog about "now." In doing so, I chose not to turn to nostalgia. Having said that, I think with Tapit's incredible bloodline, it would be nice to see how he ran and thus...

10-28 @ Belmont Exulting He's the 8 Horse, coming from back and going 3W/ Its a blow out!
10-28 @ Belmont Grey Stark #1 Horse. As the trailer, Grey Stark makes up 12 lengths at 3W and then comes down the stretch, puling away.
10-27 @Keeneland Kismet's Heels #7 from Post Pos 7 ~ After a rough start, stalks from 3rd., pounces before the third and then fights off a game front runner before drawing clear.
10-27 @ Santa Anita Lady Pamela She is #3 from Post 3...She fights Kent Desormeaux the entire way but he does a great job of not only steering her but winning!

Keen Ice Will Be At Breeder's Cup
Donegal Racing's Jerry Crawford confirmed Oct. 23 grade I winner Keen Ice will be pre-entered in the Nov. 5 Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I) at Santa Anita Park.
"He's never looked better," Crawford said. "We're certainly aware of the fact that he's pointing at 30-1, and we understand why, but it's an intersection for us of the right distance and the right pace scenario with Melatonin, California Chrome , and Arrogate. I am taking the time to do something I seldom do at this venue and that’s pass on some thoughts about the blog itself. I have enjoyed updating the blog since I started it a year or so ago, That’s going to continue.
In order to cover the most important races, I will be making a few changes to the races I place on the blog.
First, I am going to cover higher purse races than in the past during the week. Until now, I have placed races free-form and randomly. On the weekends, I have placed Stakes races since the start and that will continue.
Second, I intend to do a few posts and maybe gradually more, about jockeys, trainers and horse bloodlines.
