California Chrome will always have a place in my heart since he was the first big name horse I followed when I really got interested in racing. That year he came within a good stretch run of winning the Triple Crown. Here is a little proof that Chrome is till getting it done!
Make no mistake that Dortmund is another favorite. He gave it a shot. At 1:09 in the race, his jockey wisely threw in the towel. After looking back, he held on to 2nd.
