Friday Night Notes: American Pharoah's Breeding Session, Mohaymen

Pharoah begins stud career Since November, when American Pharoah arrived at Ashford Stud in Versailles, Ky., he spent his days making a right out his stately quarters. That's where he would meet up with people who wanted to see the first Triple Crown winner in 38 years. But on Friday morning, at around 7 a.m., the horse departed his stable and marched 30 steps to the left. That's where he met the first mate of his breeding career, a mare called Untouched Talent, in the breeding shed. Full story at ESPN


Paulick Report Moyhamen has excellent workout Friday.Under regular exercise rider Miguel Jaime, the multiple graded stakes-winning son of Tapit went four furlongs in :47 3/5 over the main track at Palm Meadows, Gulfstream Park's satellite training facility in Palm Beach County.
