Pharoah begins stud career Since November, when American Pharoah arrived at Ashford Stud in Versailles, Ky., he spent his days making a right out his stately quarters. That's where he would meet up with people who wanted to see the first Triple Crown winner in 38 years. But on Friday morning, at around 7 a.m., the horse departed his stable and marched 30 steps to the left.
